  • Overview

    Senior Financial Analyst/Expert is responsible for maintaining and utilizing divisional and ERP systems/subsystems.  Designs and reports on financial and KPI metrics. Works with the divisional Finance, Billing, Collections and Royalty teams to develops tools and analytics to enable effective and timely decision-making, measurements, budget control and ongoing monitoring. The SFA/Expert is responsible for developing and updating Insight/SAP financial reporting, serving as the subject matter area expert.


    1. Designs and reports on financial and KPI metrics using available tools including divisional systems and subsystems (SAP, Insight, BART, Vodzilla, Juicebox, etc.)
    2. Assists management with monthly accounting, planning and analysis to ensure accurate recording, projections and reporting
    3. Interface with various internal and external groups monthly to gather information regarding the financial expenses and capital spending projections
    4. Collect data from all relevant stakeholders and develop/produce financial data from SAP/Insight, including:
    • Revenue uploads (invoices, provisions and reversals)
    • License fees and royalty uploads
    • Revenue forecast uploads
    • Expense forecasting and uploads
    • Collections and cash application
    1. Analyze financial data, perform multiple scenarios, extract major insights, build models and identify variations:
    • Increase/decrease in revenues and expenses
    • Presenting data by product group, customer, revenue category, cost component, vendor, etc.
    • Project “Most Likely” scenarios
    • Help identify opportunities and risks
    • Update cash flow forecasts
    • Perform ad hoc analyses as requested
    1. Support monthly and quarterly reporting:
    • Divisional operating management reporting
    • Corporate reporting
    • Senior management reporting
    • Presentations and submissions
    1. Develop system structures to enable and provide reporting needed to support the business in decision making and provide relevant key stakeholders with data to facilitate recommendations and actions
    2. Leads team of financial analysts across territories, providing guidance, supervision and coordination of their efforts to support the local territories’ reporting, analysis and forecasting needs
    3. Participates in Finance and/or Company task forces


    1. 5+ years of experience in accounting and financial analysis 
    2. 2+ years of experience with people leadership, including direct supervision of staff
    3. Experience in budgetary controls, analysis, reporting and modeling
    4. Subject Matter Expertise in Insight, SAP
    5. Strong analytical skills and project management skills
    6. Ability to lead end-to-end projects and engage with senior management   
    7. Good decision making and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be innovative and creative in resolving issues and improving processes
    8. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), presentation skills and advanced MS Office skills
    9. Ability to prioritize, organize and plan well sufficient to meet deadlines
    10. Solid knowledge of Amdocs businesses, products, accounting and reporting processes, as well as key stakeholders
