  • Overview

    Overview:  The Director of Client Services is responsible for the day-to-day management of a primary Studio account.  This position will interact on a daily basis with multiple departments and functionsas well as will be working in conjunction with internal departments and staff, the Client Services Director assists with the implementation of programs and projects. Typical duties include planning, developing, implementing and evaluating programs and projects, coordinating project activities, collaborating with project team members, developing measurable project goals and objectives, and monitoring progress toward achievement.


    The Client Services director will prepare agendas for meetings, document key decisions and collaborate with team members to develop project collateral. They will write and disseminate work plans and project documents, including procedures, proposals, progress reports and presentations.  This role requires adaptability to ensure that the needs of each unique client are understood and supported.


    • Technical & Distribution Spec Onboarding: Initiate new onboarding requests and be an active participant in the onboarding process while managing customer expectations relating to the onboarding of new/revised workflows for their accounts.
    • Communication: Acts as initial escalation point to Warner Bros. and internal partners to manage customer expectations
    • Align with sales, engineering, product, operations and finance to ensure appropriate organizational process is in place to handle new account initiatives. Ability to initiate and lead production related projects, resolving road blocks and mitigating risks.
    •   Facilitate meetings, contribute to planning and decision making, coordinate resources and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to collect and disseminate account status information
    • Meet Account Goals. Drive achievement of account quality, deadlines, initiatives and goals ensuring productivity and organizational effectiveness with an emphasis on cost management and efficiencies.
    • Communicates proactively with clients regarding any change in scope, timelines, resources requirements or other issues.
    • Knowledge of agreed rates and production services. Develop, implement and provide weekly reporting on key functional metrics. Experience identifying and utilizing Key performance indicators.
    • Deliver engaging, informative and well-organized presentations, provide status reports and progress updates as needed and communicate difficult or sensitive information tactfully.
    • Maintains a strong and successful relationship with Clients, managing expectations and providing excellent customer service.
    • Building on existing relationships to maintain and grow services offered to the customer.
    • Facilitate new relationships with content owners & distributors via the onboarding process
    • Enhancing digital media supply chain awareness, knowledge and technical understanding of workflows


    • College education or equivalent professional experience preferred. Excellent written English skills needed.
    • Minimum of 5 years' experience with 2+ years in Digital Media
    • Technical understanding of media formats and emerging media technology
    • Budget planning & contract experience
    • Project management skills
    • Experience onboarding distributors for receipt of digital media content packages in a variety of output and package specs
    • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting capabilities
    • Ability to learn new skills quickly with minimal guidance
    • Dedicated to achieving project schedules and milestones
    • Ability to work in a team environment with aggressive deadlines and multiple priorities while staying a team player
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Strong attention to detail
