    Do you enjoy a fast-paced environment where you can work on multiple projects and use your problem-solving skills on a day to day basis? Our Digital Video Technicians work with video and audio content that is intended for digital download and streaming platforms (iTunes, Netflix, Amazon, etc.). Digital Video Technicians inspect and prepare our assets; ensuring that all of our content meets the specifications of the platforms we deliver to. 


    Juice is seeking an Digital Video Technician to join our Production team for a full-time 8 week project. Successful candidates must be available to work the overnight shift, Monday to Friday and weekends as required for the duration of the contract . Please note that this project must be completed within our facilities in downtown Toronto.


    • Demonstrated ability to work with digital asset management solutions and workflows
    • Logging received materials per Juice standards and specs, and communicating issues to the appropriate staff
    • Ingesting tape and digital files to Juice specs, and communicating issues to the appropriate staff
    • Editing of master files as required
    • Encoding, transcoding and other manipulation of master files as required
    • Package creation for digital delivery as required
    • Ensuring all audio and video elements have been fully QC’d prior to submission for delivery
    • Maintaining internal Juice database, ensuring that information is kept up to date and complete regarding ingest process


    • Post-secondary Diploma or Degree in film, broadcasting, or video production
    • Proficient in OSX, FCP Studio, Adobe Premiere
    • Experience with HTML / XML Markup an asset
    • Organized and detail-oriented
    • Keeps up to date with internal and industry standards
    • Contributes to team efforts through clear and frequent communication
